This Halloween, the sweetest treats didn’t come wrapped in candy—they arrived with tiny paws and puppy kisses!
October 31, 2026, was a very special Halloween for Shomaisou Shiba Inu! In New Baden, Illinois, Chupa welcomed four beautiful Shiba Inu puppies sired by Kami, giving us four wonderful reasons to celebrate.
Our Kami × Chupa Echo Litter, appropriately themed “Tricks, Treats & Tiny Feet,” includes:
- 🎃 One red boy
- 🦇 Two black and tan boys
- 🧡 One black and tan girl
Three handsome little boys and one beautiful little girl—all arriving on Halloween!
Four Little Halloween Treats
While ghosts, goblins, and trick-or-treaters were making their rounds, Chupa had a few surprises of her own. Instead of candy corn and chocolate bars, she delivered four precious little Shibas!
For now, these little pumpkins are spending their days doing what newborn puppies do best: nursing, sleeping, snuggling with Mom, and growing stronger every day.
It won’t be long before their eyes open, their tiny feet begin exploring, and their individual personalities start to shine. We’re looking forward to discovering who will be the mischievous trickster, who will be the sweetest treat, and who might be a little of both!

From Tiny Feet to Big Adventures
As a preservation breeder, our goal at Shomaisou is to produce healthy, well-socialized Shiba Inu that exemplify the breed’s distinctive character, temperament, and structure.
These puppies will begin their developmental journey with Early Neurological Stimulation and our Puppy Culture protocols, followed by age-appropriate enrichment and socialization experiences.
At approximately five weeks of age, the puppies will travel to the Grand Rapids, Michigan, area to attend our Puppy Preschool, where they’ll continue learning about the world through carefully planned experiences designed to build confidence, curiosity, and resilience.
At approximately eight weeks, we’ll evaluate each puppy’s structure, temperament, and development. These evaluations help us make thoughtful placement decisions, matching each puppy with the home best suited to its individual characteristics and needs.
No Tricks, Just Treats!
Halloween may come only once a year, but these four little treats will bring joy for many years to come.
We’re excited to share their journey, from their very first days in the whelping box to their adventures at Puppy Preschool and, eventually, their new homes.
