Shomaisou Shiba Inu

Preservation Breeder Blog & Puppy Updates

An Accountable, Heritage and Preservation Breeder of Purposefully Bred Purebred Dogs

Welcome

Welcome to Shomaisou Shiba Inu. We are undergoing a facelift at this site so you may still see pages in the old format. This page includes current litter announcements, puppy updates, evaluation links, and placement information for families following our breeding program. We will be doing a complete re-write of our FAQ and have decided that Newsletters and the Blog below were redundant, so we will continue doing updates to our Blog below and we will preserve the older Newsletters.

Our puppies are raised with careful attention to health, structure, temperament, breed type, and best-fit placement. Final placement decisions are made thoughtfully as puppies mature and are evaluated.

Fall/Winter 2020 Breeding Plans

Michi Bravo Litter

Guccifer X Michi Bravo Litter breeding has been completed. Expected whelp date is October 30, 2020. This is a co-owned litter that will be born in West Virginia. This is a repeat breeding, the Alpha litter was 3 red girls. This mating can produce red or cream (not sesame or black/tan). Both the sire and dam carry the recessive cream gene, so risk of cream puppies is also a possibility. The album on the Guccifer X Michi Alpha Litter is here.

We expect to see red, sesame and black/tan (no cream) puppies from this breeding.  Ayumi Charlie Litter Genetic Forecast
